“Climbing Mount Olympus Documentary” w/ Jacob Hunsanger

Synopsis: The documentary follows a group of college students embarking on a unique mountain climbing expedition on the other side of the world, facing more challenges than just the climb. The film shows the physical and metal struggles of the students trying to accomplish an enormous feat, despite continuous challenges and obstacles. On top of the challenges of climbing one of the largest mountains in the region, the students also attempt to overcome stereotypes of physical abilities. The film deals with adventure, friendship and overcoming physical limitations.
Biography: Jacob Hunsanger is the Community Editor of the Lapeer Area View and The County Press newspapers, and a native of Lapeer, Mich. He earned bachelors degrees in English Literature and History at Cornerstone University before studying for at the masters degree program in Medieval Studies at Western Michigan University. An avid traveler and mountain climber, Jacob Hunsanger jumped at the opportunity to participate in the unique mountain climbing experience captured on film by an independent film crew in 2005.
